SUSTAINABLE SUMMER

In the wake of Vancouver’s ban of plastic straws, we thought a summer sustainability guide would be just what we need. Here are a few companies doing amazing things for the environment and nail a summery aesthetic.

Proof Eyewear

This family run eyewear company based out of Idaho handcrafts these gorgeous specs from FSC-certified wood, cotton-based acetate, and repurposed skateboard decks. The stylish wooden frames will go with literally anything (including a LONDRĖ suit) and do so much good for the environment.

Goodness Garden Organics

Keeping your skin safe while wearing your LONDRĖ bodysuit is a must! Goodness Garden has a killer sunscreen that is so kind to your skin and the environment. Focusing on organics and chemical-free products, these guys have a formula that leaves the skin glowing and the earth happy. And with a spray sunscreen that’s not an aerosol...you can’t get much better than this!

Reformation Clothing

This LA based company is a one-stop shop for sustainable summer essentials. They use the most eco-friendly technologies and practices that aim to reduce waste and extend the life cycle of all products. By celebrating the female figure and creating timeless pieces, they reduce the impact of fast-fashion and minimise waste on all levels. And we are all about that! If that vintage look is what you’re after, this is the place for you. They create their pieces from deadstock fabrics and repurposed vintage clothing.
